Mathematics Moderatorship 2018-19

Junior Sophister Year

Note: Although the list of modules has been updated recently, the regulations that appear below refer to the academic year 2017/18. These regulations will slightly change because of the Trinity Education Project and their updated version will be posted in mid August.

JS Mathematics students take a total of 60 ECTS credits, 30 in each term. Unless indicated otherwise, each module is worth 5 credits.

All module choices are subject to them being possible within the timetable.

Michaelmas term

The above modules are considered to be at the advanced level. Junior Sophister students may include in their choice of modules 5 credits of modules listed below at the intermediate level (provided they have not taken a substantially similar module in a Fresh year) and/or a 5 credit BC module. Appropriate approved modules offered by other Schools in College may be substituted for advanced level modules up to a maximum of 10 credits. See below for a partial list of such modules.

Hilary term

The above modules are considered to be at the advanced level. Junior Sophister students may include in their choice of modules 5 credits of modules listed below at the intermediate level (provided they have not taken a substantially similar module in a Fresh year) and/or a 5 credit BC module.
