Available pathways

During their Junior Sophister year, students follow one of the available pathways. Their exact options are outlined in this useful diagram and they are also briefly outlined below.

  • Joint Honors pathway: Students take 30 credits in each subject.
  • Major with Minor (Pattern A): Students take 40 credits in their major subject along with 20 credits in their minor subject.
  • Major with Minor (Pattern B): Students take 30 credits in each subject with the intention to concentrate on their major subject during their final year.
  • Single Honors pathway: Students proceed with a Single Honors degree and take 50 credits in their main subject along with 10 credits in the subject they dropped or else 10 credits in Open Modules and Trinity Electives.
The pathways involving either a Single Honors degree in Mathematics or a major in Mathematics are only available to students who took 40 credits in Mathematics during their Senior Fresh year.

Mathematics modules

The following list of Mathematics modules corresponds to the pathway selected at the top of this page. One may use the dropdown menu to navigate to other pathways, if needed. Some combinations of modules may not be available because of timetable restrictions.

Credits must always be divided equally between the two semesters. Unless indicated otherwise, each module is worth 5 credits. To view the prerequisites for each module, one may hover their mouse over the module code. Modules listed with (c) are compulsory, while those listed with an asterisk are offered every other year.
