Module Content

  • Special theory of relativity.
  • Hamilton formalism: Legendre transform, Hamilton equations, Liouville theorem.
  • Canonical transformations.
  • Hamilton-Jacobi equations, action-angle variables.
  • Perturbation theory.
  • Mechanics of continuous systems and fields.
