Mathematics in Two-Subject Moderatorship 2018-19

(for the combination Mathematics + Economics only)

There is a special programme for the combination Mathematics and Economics, where Mathematical courses normally within Economics are replaced by more substantial courses in Mathematics in the Junior Fresh Year, and Mathematical Economics courses may be taken as part of the Mathematics programme in the Sophister years.

Junior Fresh Year

Note: Although the list of modules has been updated recently, the regulations that appear below refer to the academic year 2017/18. These regulations will slightly change because of the Trinity Education Project and their updated version will be posted in mid August.

Michaelmas term

Hilary term

All modules must be taken. Unless indicated otherwise, each module is worth 5 credits.

Modules MA1111, MA1112, MA1125, MA1126 and MA1132 make up the Mathematics result at the end of the year, while modules ST1251 and ST1252 count towards the Economics result. This gives a total of 40 ECTS credits, but 10 of them are part of Economics.
