Help room
The Maths Help-room provides support for all TCD students who are studying mathematics as part of their degree. It provides:
- Daily drop-in sessions during term where students can come to ask questions on mathematics or statistics. Tutors are available to provide advice on solving problems or to discuss any challenging topic.
- Evening lectures with overviews of specific topics in mathematics. These sessions both review material that students have already seen and provide an early introduction to topics that will be covered in more detail in course modules.
- Online blackboard pages where students can submit questions and where additional review materials are available.
Location and Time
- The drop-in sessions take place daily from 1pm to 2pm during term in the Seminar room in House 20 Westland row. This room can reached by entering the school from the Hamilton building through either the main entrance or the House 20 entrance. Additional help-room sessions for student with mobility issues will be held in the Mathematics library.
