PLANKS Kent 2026

TCD JS teams 'Heisenballers' and 'Schrödunkers' perform excellently at PLANKS

Congratulations to the TCD Teams ‘Heisenballers’ and ‘Schrödunkers’ who achieved the third, resp. seventh place in the international theoretical physics competition PLANCKS last weekend at the University of Kent. Special thanks and congratulations go to Chaolun Wu, who has been coaching the TCD teams over the past three years.

The event was highly competitive, with 41 teams representing 39 Universities from the UK and Ireland, and this year the TCD Teams achieved the best result that Irish teams have ever achieved. All TCD team members are JS TP students, please see the below photograph

Everyone did exceptionally well, putting their creativity and physics knowledge to the test. Well done, Heisenballers and Schrödunkers and Chaolun!
