Mathematics Competition Resources
Here are just a few resources that anyone competing, or hoping to compete, in the Irish Mathematical Intervarsities may find useful.
Art of Problem SolvingThis website contains many useful lemmas and theorems. While mainly aimed at second level competitions, the forums in particular have wonderful discussions of various problem solving techniques at all levels
TCD Selection Tests, Intervarsity Papers and SolutionsTimothy Murphy is a good man for problems. Here you will find most of the selection tests and intervarsity papers from Trinity, along with solutions. Poking around this site will also find you some more interesting resources.
IrMO PapersOften a smidge easier than IV problems, Irish Mathematical Olympiad problems are very similar in style and difficulty. The only thing missing is calculus.
IMO PapersFor when you need a challenge
IMC PapersWhile generally a bit above the standard of most IV problems, IMC problems provide a good challenge and the right flavour
Some Problem Sets I threw togetherThis paper, produced as part of a REU program at the University of Minnesota, was my first venture into algebraic combinatorics and geometry.
Putnam ProblemsChallenging, but often interesting Random Problems
This has a random problem from one of the above places each day. Useful for exposing yourself to new problems and preventing selection bias
