The XXIII International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory Lattice 2005 http://www.maths.tcd.ie/lat05/ The conference will take place from July 25th to 30th in Trinity College, Dublin. PLENARY TALKS The schedule of plenary talks is now available on the conference web page. PARALLEL TALKS Parallel talks are 15 minutes long (followed by 5 minutes discussions). We posted a draft programme on the web but some changes have since been necessary. Please CONFIRM your parallel presentation day and time on the final programme now posted on the conference web page. POSTERS Poster boards are 1 metre wide by 2 metres long, designed to fit A0 size posters. We will supply pins to secure posters. The poster session will take place on Tuesday, 26th from 18.30 to 20.30. Posters can be displayed from Monday morning to Friday evening during the conference. CONFERENCE VENUE The conference will be held in Trinity College. All the plenary sessions will take place in the Burke Auditorium, in the Arts Building (http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/arts_block.html). The poster session will also take place here, in the Lower Concourse. The parallel sessions will be held in lecture theatres in the Hamilton Building, located at the East end of College (http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/hamilton.html). All lecture theatres have overhead projectors and AV facilities for laptop presentations. We ask you to note that smoking is now banned in all public places (including all College buildings) in Ireland. WEB ACCESS Wireless network access will be provided in the appropriate conference venues. A limited number of terminals will also be available for delegates use in the School of Mathematics. REGISTRATION The conference registration desk will be open on Sunday 24th from 16.30 to 18.30 and for the duration of the conference at 08.30. The registration desk will be located on the Upper Concourse of the Arts Building. ARRIVAL INFORMATION Instructions on how to get to Trinity College or your hotels from the airport, ferry terminal or inside Ireland can be found on the conference web page. For delegates attending the opening reception on Sunday, 24th or staying in Trinity College please note: Access to College on Sunday evening is through either the front gate or the Nassau Street gate (entrance 2 on the campus map at http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/tcd_campus.html) if the front gate is closed. For those who are staying in Trinity College and who arrive after registration on Sunday 24th the Accommodation Office, located in West Chapel (http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/chapel_west.html) will be open until midnight. If you arrive after midnight you can get your room key from the porter's lodge located on the left directly inside the front gate. If you arrive after midnight you can knock on the door in front gate and the porter will let you in. SOCIAL EVENTS: There will be an opening reception held on Sunday, 24th July in the Dining Hall of Trinity College (http://www.tcd.ie/Maps/dining_hall.html) from approximately 7pm to 9pm. The conference banquet will be held at the Burlington Hotel located in Upper Leeson Street, a pleasant 20 minute stroll through Georgian Dublin. The banquet will begin at 8pm with a welcome drinks reception beforehand at 7.30pm. Some of the excursions booked for the afternoon of Wednesday, 27th are now full. Please consult the web page for details. A small number of additional places may become available closer to the conference and these can be booked at the conference desk. The evening literary pub tour is now completely sold out on both Monday and Friday.
