HMI Workshop on CR Geometry

_

Hamilton Mathematics Institute, Trinity College Dublin

August 24-26, 2026

The workshop is supported by HMI, Simons Foundation

Cauchy Riemann (CR) manifolds are natural analogues of complex manifolds in odd dimen- sions. Their structure is modeled on that of a real-hypersurface inside a complex manifold. Key questions revolve around their embeddability and the extendibility of CR functions to holomorphic ones. The purpose of this workshop will be to bring together experts in CR geometry to discuss recent advances in the topic coming from the analysis of related partial differential equations.
