Here is a link to a report I wrote, with two class mates, as part of a research internship in the Trinity School of Mathematics during the summer of 2013. We were supervised by Prof. Masha Vlasenko, who has since moved to UCD. The material is relatively accessible, and hopefully easy enough to read.
I completed a short six week internship during the summer of 2015 at UCD analysing historical sunshine data for Ireland and comparing it to projections from several climate models. A poster summarising this work is available here
