Introduction

This part of the course aims to show how Mathematica can be used as a tool for Mathematical purposes, with emphasis on topics covered in 231. Initially we introduce basic usage of Mathematica for symbolic computation and graphing and then proceed to slightly more sophisticated use involving programming of Mathematica. Examples will deal with Fourier series.

This web site will be updated after the lectures are given.

The Syllabus for the full 231 course is available and it shows the range of topics covered.
