All about me

I have now retired. I was trained in Mathematics and Computer Science. Apart from service courses taught to scientists and engineers, these are the subjects I teach: algebra to first-year Mathematics students; logic, algorithms, computational geometry and topology, and computational complexity, to seniors.

As for research, I have an interest in the design and programming of algorithms, particularly those related to geometry. For programming, I am very interested in EIFFEL.

I have also done research in word-rewriting systems (Thue systems), with a theoretical bias.
