In 1997, we extended our sevices to include the hire of liferafts and lifejackets to leisure and commercial users for short or long periods.
The liferafts offered are normally6 person rafts, which come packed in a valise complete with either an approved O.R.C./R.O.R.C. of a SOLAS "B" equipment pack. All rafts have double buoyancy chambers, an inflatable floor, a self erecting canopy and large water ballast pockets to improve stability.
Our lifejackets are the well known ASPLI 150 newton fully automatic
inflatable type which can be supplied with an integral harness and "D"
ring and fully comply with both EN 396 and 1095 EC standards.
For commercial users who need a more rugged jacket capable of standing up
to a lot of rough treatment, we also have the ASPLI A-36 industrial jacket
which can also be fitted with a harness and complies to the same European
regulations.
Hirers of our safety equipment might also consider taking our one day Personal Survival Techniques course approved by the Department of the Marine and the Irish Sailing Association.
