Little Bubble (confessions of a foam physicist)
lyrics and music by S. Hutzler, 1994
first performed at the 1st Euroconference on Foams, Renvyle, Ireland, 1994

little bubble in my eye
you make me blind you make me cry
'cause all i see are your colours yellow red and blue
let me investigate your past
I want to really know if we could last
bubble - i want to look through you

little bubble in my brain
you just pop up and i go insane
when you tell me if i touch you you will burst
but i can't escape from your form
although it is within the norm
bubble - please don't let me die of thirst

little bubble on my skin
no i won't move just like your twin
but stable friendship is an exceptional case
don't you know you're going to change
you'll grow or shrink that's more than rearrange
bubble - that's called life's eternal race

you know your frothy kind of friends
i'm sure they're going to suck you in the end
they want to take from you what they lost long ago
once they were spherically free
now they're adjusted in community
bubble - be aware of your kin

little bubble on my tongue
you blow my mind i feel so young
you know without you all my life would be so stale
but suddenly you're mean and dull
you keep on banging against my skull
why is our relationship so frail

you know your frothy kind of friends
i'm sure they're going to suck you in the end
they want to take from you what they lost long ago
once they were spherically free
now they're adjusted in community
bubble - be aware of your kin

little bubble in my heart
your crystal voice cuts it apart
you mention irregular patterns in my life
but don't you know i can be cured
you're my partition that's for sure
bubble - i want you to be my wife
