Introduction
Welcome to my website on the TCD School of Maths server. I originally started this page to host some handwritten assignments that I formatted in LaTeX for Quantum Mechanics. The assignments eventually got too long to do in LaTeX, so that stopped, but I kept the page on as a sort of blog for all the work I've done/am currently working on. I find it's a good source of motivation; you're more likely to put more effort into your graphs and presentation etc. if you know it's going to be on display. It's also nice to look back on your work and see how much you've done and how much you've improved, and it's great for learning how to build a website. Maybe this website will be of some use to someone some day; if anyone is thinking of doing something similar, I'd definitely recommend it.
About Me
I'm a 4th Year TP student here in Trinity College. I'm interested in everything Maths/Physics/Technology/Nerd related. I'm hoping to begin postgraduate study after I finish my undergraduate degree, although I really can't decide what area I'd like to go into yet. I did a 4 month research project in the Summer of 2016 with Prof. Stefano Sanvito on 2D nanomaterials, so at the moment I'm leaning towards the materials/condensed matter end of things at the moment. In my spare time I like to build and collect rubiks cubes and other puzzles. This year I hope to write an article for the TSSR about the mathematics of rubiks cubes and other puzzles, and I'd like to do some research on that area in the future, as it is more or less completely unexplored.
Content
As I said above most of the website content is work that I've done during my time at Trinity. I might add some useful links, some of my old notes, and other useful things if I get bored and need to do some productive procrastination.
