Description: The module is entirely practical in character. At the end of the module you should be able to use a Unix system with confidence; should be able to use spreadsheets for simple data organisation tasks; to use Mathematica for basic calculus and linear algebra computations; to prepare LaTeX input files; and to use a Unix system for other purposes.
