End-of-year Examination: This module will be examined jointly with MA1121 in a 3-hour examination in Trinity term, except that those taking just one of the two modules will have a 2 hour examination.

Description: (Preliminary.) Intermediate Value Theorem (if not in MA1121), Rolle, Mean Value Theorem, Riemann integral, fundamental theorem of calculus, inverse functions, a formal approach to standard transcendental functions, Taylor's theorem.
