This year the workshop, started in Vienna 10 years ago, will be held in Dublin. As you know last year, in addition to the infamous Vienna Bermuda triangle, a new triangle was formed. It was decided to circulate the workshop between Vienna, Leipzig and Dublin. This year's workshop will be held at Trinity College Dublin from Thursday, 21 June to Saturday, 23 June 2001. We would be glad if many of the regular visitors (Stammgäste) to the previous Vienna and Leipzig meetings can join us in Dublin this year.
As in previous years the idea of the workshop
is to provide a forum for a healthy exchange of ideas and to meet in a
relaxed atmosphere in Dublin in early Summer.
Please let us know whether you will join us and send a preliminary
title of your contribution. We will also have a poster session,
plenty of discussion time, refreshments and encourage you to make
use of this opportunity.
Concerning your travel arrangements we recommend to arrive in Dublin
on Wednesday evening, 20 June and depart on Sunday, 24 June.
We will meet in one of the many Dublin pubs on arrival and
enjoy Dublin at night after the last talk. The conference will start
at 9:30 on Thursday, 21 June and end at 18:00 on Saturday, 23 June.
We ask you to make use of the WWW registration form and
to bookmark this page since
details of locations, accomodations and schedule will be available
shortly. In view of the large numbers of tourists at this time of year and
the limited hotel capacity at moderate prices in Dublin early registration
is recommended (by early May).
We will try to look after people who register late,
but this may result in more expensive accommodation.
Feel free to forward this announcement to interested
colleagues. We hope to welcome you in
Dublin.
With best regards,
