My Demos
| New Stuff | ||
| Demo No.1 | Snappy title, huh? This is my most recent piece of demo coding, of which I'm actually quite proud. Stuff that's in this demo: A 3D engine (done in software), real-time raytracing with no blurry images like my previous raytracing demo below, particles, those incredibly annoying 3D metaballs/blobs that are in every demo nowadays, and a few other effects. Runs under Windows. | 700K |

| Raytrace | This is a pure raytracing demo. It's not as good as the stuff in Demo No. 1 above, but its got some nice scenes with reflecting water, snowmen etc. It was inspired by the demo Sink, by Pulse. Runs under DOS. | 218K |
| Metaball | The classic metaball effect, where bright blobs melt into each other. Looks nice. | 134K |
| Particles | Some particles in the shape of a sphere, with blurring effect. | 141K |
| Planes | The "trapped between two infinite walls" effect, with guest appearance by Taz the Tasmanian Devil. | 90K |
| Rotozoom | A rotozoomer. What more is there to say? | 149K |
| Water | The water effect, where there are ripples in a background image. | 280K |
Note about DOS demos:
The older demos above that run in DOS use VESA graphics modes. They might still work if you don't have VESA drivers installed, because they use PTC which will use a fakemode if there are no VESA drivers. This looks like shite though, so if the demos look like they have lines going horizontally across the screen, get Scitech Display Doctor which should fix any problems.This is why I now use Windows for writing demos. :-)
