The subjects which I studied over the 4 years included Logic, Algebra, Analysis, Wavelets, Topology, Mathematical Methods, C++, Microprocessors and Current Systems, Numerical Analysis, and Statistics. 1993 - 1998: Summerhill College, Sligo. I sat my Junior and Leaving Certificate Examinations here, gaining 525 points in my Leaving Certificate. 1985 - 1993: Rathcormac National School Primary school education. Most of my work I did with this company involved implementing wireless protocols. Proficient programmer in Java, C, C++, Python, PHP, Java Script, UNIX shell scripts and HTML. I can also program in Emacs Lisp, Perl, LaTeX and Motorola 68000 assembly language. Knowledge of the Python/C API, XML, XSLT, XPath, CGI Programming, and CSS. I am also very familiar with the UNIX build system including the programs autoconf, automake, autoheader and make. Keen interest in all Unix operating systems, especially Linux. Major interests include the internals of the Linux operating system, applications got to do with code development and package managers. Interests and Activities: I was a competitive member of County Sligo Swimming Club 1991 - 1998. I competed in local, provincial and national level. I am a member of Dublin University Swimming Club since 1998 and I play water polo in Leinster League Division 4 for the club's 2nd's team. I competed in the National Physics Olympiad in 1998 and I also competed in the All Ireland Schools Science Quiz in 1998. This involves maintaining a network of FreeBSD and Linux computers, used by over 1500 people, on a part-time basis. October 2001 -- September 2002: Java programmer for Noctor Consultancy Limited. This job involved developing a Java SDK which is used in the development of Java applications that send text messages to mobile phones. This involved the implementation of mobile protocols.
