  1998 - Present:
     Trinity College, Dublin.
     I am studying Pure Mathematics in Trinity College, Dublin graduating with a third.

     The subjects which I studied over the 4 years included Logic, Algebra, Analysis, Wavelets,
Topology, Mathematical Methods, C++, Microprocessors and Current Systems, Numerical Analysis,
and Statistics.
  1993 - 1998:
     Summerhill College, Sligo.
     I sat my Junior and Leaving Certificate Examinations here, gaining 525 points in my
Leaving Certificate.
  1985 - 1993:
     Rathcormac National School
     Primary school education.

Computer Skills:

    Maintainer and founder of the open source project "The Voodoo Package Manager", see
http://voodoopm.sourceforge.net/ for more information.

    1 year programming experience in Java with Noctor Consultancy Limited. Most of my work I
did with this company involved implementing wireless protocols.

    Proficient programmer in Java, C, C++, Python, PHP, Java Script, UNIX shell scripts and HTML.

    I can also program in Emacs Lisp, Perl, LaTeX and Motorola 68000 assembly language.

    Knowledge of the Python/C API, XML, XSLT, XPath, CGI Programming, and CSS. I am also very
familiar with the UNIX build system including the programs autoconf, automake, autoheader and make.

    Keen interest in all Unix operating systems, especially Linux. Major interests include
the internals of the Linux operating system, applications got to do with code development
and package managers.

    Knowledge of following protocols: HTTP, WAP, WSP (Wireless Session Protocol), WAP Push,
UCP/EMI, and OIS/SMS2000.

    I enjoy and find it very easy to adapt to using new programming languages and computer tools
when ever the need arises.

Interests and Activities:

I was a competitive member of County Sligo Swimming Club 1991 - 1998. I competed in local,
provincial and national level.

I am a member of Dublin University Swimming Club since 1998 and I play water polo in Leinster
League Division 4 for the club's 2nd's team.

I competed in the National Physics Olympiad in 1998 and I also competed in the
All Ireland Schools Science Quiz in 1998.

Work Experience:
   November 2002 - present:
     System administration School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin.

     This involves maintaining a network of FreeBSD and Linux computers, used by over 1500 people,
on a part-time basis.

   October 2001 -- September 2002:
     Java programmer for Noctor Consultancy Limited.

     This job involved developing a Java SDK which is used in the development of Java applications
that send text messages to mobile phones. This involved the implementation of mobile protocols.

   July 2000 - October 2000:
     I worked as a cashier in a small news-agent called The Number 1 Shop on
Andrew St., Dublin 2.

   August 1999 - October 1999:
     I worked as a kitchen porter in Liaison Restaurant, Clontarf, Co.
Dublin.
   1996 - 1998:
     I taught swimming to complete beginners for Co. Sligo Swimming Club and in
private swim lessons.

   June 1997 - end of July 1997:
