Erasmus

Information for exchange students
Mathematics students(but not technically T.P.s) may go abroad in their third year. The School of Maths have Erasmus agreements with the following universities:
- Technische Hochschule, Darmstadt, Germany
- University of Durham, Durham, United Kingdom
- Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France
- Université Paris Diderot-Paris 7, France
It may be possible to create an Erasmus agreement with an arbitrary university, but there is a lot of red tape, so start the process as early as possible. Also you may have to remind the School of Maths that the above agreements actually exist...
Finally at least one TP student somehow engineered a (gap) year for himself in a Russian university in the recent past; also according to a certain lecturer in Doyles, it is in fact possible for TPs to do Erasmus, contrary to accepted wisdom.
