I finally got around to taking the last month or twos photos off my camera. Man, I'm really going to miss Ireland in some ways, yet dying to see the landscapes that New Zealand has to offer

Had an absolutely amazing week in Stockholm with Mikael, Carina and Richard. It was a first trip to Sweden, a pretty awesome place - definitely as green as Ireland, with a much healthier lifestyle.

And of course they got married..

Nice to see some more exposure - even in airports.

Katie left Ireland this month - was sad to see her go, but her departure prompted a pretty great party.

I booked my flights today and I leave in 3 weeks. This has been an odd week. I am travelling again, and I can't wait. It's all the clean up in the meanwhile that worries me slightly. I leave Ireland on 14th Sept, head into Denver for a few days with Nils, then across to San Francisco and up to Yosemite on the 18th for a weeks climbing before staying in Santa Clara Sun offices for a few days until my final flight to Auckland and Christchurch on the 1st October.

I got my VISA in the post today. Pretty psyched to think I could be on my way in under a months time. New Zealand is roughly the size of Colorado, hopefully my first stopping point on my way over. It apparently has 113 [2002] airports, of which 67 have unpaved runways. New Zealand has over 45 million sheep. That should keep anyone busy enough for a year.

So, my 'gman' google spot has gone. I feel cheated in 2nd place.

I saw 'Whale Rider' last night. What a wonderful film. Amazing to see the place where I hope to be living soon. Soon. Watch this space.
