Dublin Area Theoretical Physics Colloquium Information for speakers I. The one-hour Colloquium is held every Monday at 4:15 PM in the Salmon Theatre, located on the ground floor of the Hamilton Building, which houses the School of Mathematics of Trinity College Dubin. Speakers usually stay in one of the following facilities: 83 St. Stephen's Green South, Dublin 2 Tel. 01 4782300 / 4782133 ; Fax 01 4782263; Email:info@stauntonsonthegreen.ie 12 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2 Tel. 617 0900 ; Fax: 617 0999 Located on campus in House 40 and House 23. They are run by the Accomodation Office, which is found in West Chapel on campus (tel. 608 1177). You can ask for directions at the information booth placed at the main entrance (Dame Street entrance) to the campus. If you arrive very early or very late, you can pick the keys from the same booth. The contact person for all issues related to housing, travel and reimbursement is Ms. Karen O'Doherty. III. Inside Hamilton Building The entrance to the School of Mathematics is on the ground floor of Hamilton Building (under the interior stairs); it is marked by a placard. Once in the School, first contact our Executive Officer (Ms. Karen O'Doherty) to arrange reimbursement and receive the keys to the visitor room, printer room and Pearce entrance. Her office is Rm 0.6 on the ground floor, tel. 608 1889, email: kod@maths.tcd.ie. She will also give you an information sheet about computer-related issues and (if desired) a voucher for a wireless laptop connection. The Salmon theatre has an overhead projector for use with both a laptop or transparencies. We usually take the speaker to dinner immediately after the seminar.
