Hi Jon,

Firstly this blog is actually hosted in Ireland ;) But the email alerts get sent to my gmail account.

I would be 99% sure that the issue is with your email address.

Easy to test.

Both of you set up gmail accounts (gmail.google.com) and test

1) him sending to your new account
2) you sending to his new account
3) both sending via gmail (or hotmail, whatever you want to use)

I'd imagine that'll show that it's probably your individual email addy that's not working. Do you have a strange reply-to on your email?

Good luck.

Hi Patrick. I live in Maine (USA) and have been to NZ 2X and can't wait to return. I have a good friend in Pukekohe (North Island)who receives my emails but his replies to my address keep coming back. Can you please reply to this message to help us figure out whether the problem stems from my internet service provider or his. Thanks.

But I've no real clue. I believe monsoon season is August->Sept in Asia so that might not be the best time to travel. But yes, Dec/Jan is when I think I'll be back. Though to stay I'm not sure.. prob not in Dublin.. but Europe.. maybe.. for a bit.. :) All very much up in the air at the moment.

Nah paddy your wrong the longest palindrome is :

TATTARRATTAT is the longest palindrome in the Oxford English Dictionary 2nd edition (OED2). The OED2 is actually a historical dictionary of English, covering the language from the earliest times to the present day. Therefore it contains words like Tarrarrattat that are considered "nonce words". In fact, according to OED2 the word was only used once in the history of published literature by James Joyce in his 1921 novel Ulysses: "I knew his tattarrattat at the door."

or more aptly put by myself : "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZ"

Well, Moany Bastard... thing is, I'm not too sure if I can reverse it for a start... and the thing is, if you do it that way, then you have to trawl through pages and pages to get to the place you want to be... see if you just keep up to date ;)

But yeah, my sister said the same thing.. sure if I get round to it I may make a reverso button! :)

Raining here today, first time in months.

Hey Patrick, just because you are on the other side of the world doesn't mean it is cool to make us read things upside-down. Any chance of reversing the order of the blog so we can read in a more logical manner.

Yer auld Pal in the big O.

Ahr, looks like you guys had a rocking weekend - the photos of Castle Hill look dead cool, and I'm jealous that I'm not over there enjoying the rock. We have a birthday boy here tommorrow, so just might get to a local climbing wall for a bit of authentic plastic rock climbing - I took them out for a bit of a swim on Balmoral beach, and a play on the local sandstone boulders but apparently they prefered the real thing. Sydney is a totally awesome place, and I'm pretty hyped about trying to get here after the year's up in New Zealand.

Armin, how wonderfull to hear from you again. I took the liberty of checking what your IP address was (logged it this time). Funnily enough came out as 134.226.86.54. Which is weber.mee.tcd.ie
Looks like it's the Electronic engineering TCD lan to me!

And all the time I thought you were Armin from Germany! Almost had me fooled ;)

As for whether it'll be made available.. well you never know.. It's on a video though (VHS) so not sure how to get that into avi. Any ideas Armin (Declan) :D

Hey man, looks like the ol trip to NZ is treating you well. I wont mention the door to door sales though ;) Dont worry, I could'nt give away stuff door to door. Its true, I was in kerry before on a weeks fishing and usually we'd catch too much and offer it as a free-be to other people in the caravan park. Invariably we'd come back with more or less the same amount!
Anyway, keep on rockin!
Oh, on that note(shameless plug coming up) my band Joshua Lane is playing in Eamon Dorans Jan 1st. We're on at 10 but get there early to be suitably enebriated!
Plug over!
See ya!
