Assistant Professor in Theoretical Physics
The School of Mathematics at Trinity College, Dublin is seeking a candidate for a five year fixed term Assistant Professorship. The post will be tenable from September 2017. This post is a teaching and research position. The successful candidate will be required to contribute to all levels of teaching and supervision undertaken by the School. Applications must have a PhD and a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. Theoretical Physics is a regular strength of the Trinity School of Mathematics with active research in String Theory, Lattice Field Theory, General Relativity and across a broad trange of topics in Quantum Field Theory. Candidates in all areas on Theoretical and Mathematical Physics will be considered.
Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Merged Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy (range €32,540 - €46,615 per annum) appointment will be made no higher than point 8 (46,165)
