Witchcraft 3

Story by JamesRobinson
Art by TeddyKristiansen& Steve Yeowell

Tch. This is the sort of thing that gives Vertigo a bad name. The forces of evil are evil because they're men, the forces of good are good because they're women, and naturally closer to nature. Not only is it nothing deeper than stereotypical new-age mysticism, it's so blatantly sexist that were the story submitted with the gender roles reversed, it's a fair bet that James Robinson would never work for Vertigo again. Teddy Kristiansen's art seems a little out of place here, but most of the pages are by Steve Yeowell, who can practically do no wrong. Shame about the story. Affirmative action is most uncool.
