Vertigo Visions: Dr Occult 1

On the other hand, this was much less interesting. The central premise (a character who can manifest both his masculine and feminine sides as physical reality has his feminine side stolen) seems to have possibilities but the execution is pretty dull. Dr Occult is too much of a cipher to make a truly engaging central character, a classic example of a comics character defined by his powers alone, and the story trundles through a welter of cheap-jack pseudo-psychoanalytic mumbo jumbo without ever leaving you in any doubt as to the essential outcome.
