It came as a surprise to me when I checked the credits page of this issue, and found it was the fifth part of The Kindly Ones. It just doesn't seem like we've had four issues of plot already. Whatever about that, this issue picks up momentum noticably, with several plot developments; Lyta finds out the price of staying at the gorgon's house, Rose visits her dying friend, who we have naturally met before, the Corinthian resumes his service under Dream, a cast member dies, and the suspicions about Detectives Pinkerton, and Fellowes are confirmed. The art is still Marc Hempel, love it or hate it. Personally, I think it fits in perfectly with the tone of the book, adapting well to the serious (Rose's visit to hospital) to the comic (Carla's talk with the local Police Seargant). And Pinkerton's moving bandage gets around a lot
