The Books of Magic 11

Story by John NeyRieber
Art by Gary Amaro& Peter Gross

Hmm. John Ney Rieber does seem to have a problem with his plots, climax-wise, that is. I mean, obviously, this isn't a superhero book, so Tim Hunter's safety is guaranteed, and it simply isn't Rieber's style to have a dramatic facedown between Tim and the Villain of the month. But this is twice in two stories that Tim's been plotted against, and has managed to remain ignorant of any of it until after the plotters demise. Still, the characterisation and dialogue is a groovy as ever, and the art is still excellent.
