If the first two parts are anything to go by this should prove to be a memorable series. This reviewer is not a fanatical comics reader, but to say that this is one of the few comics outside of the inspiring Sandman that really grabbed me should give some impression of just how good this is.
Set in the modern city of Graden, it deals with the life of Warren Gale, a man who lost his soul many years previous at a death as a results of his actions. Many years later he becomes aware of the separate existence of his soul. The Shadow of the title is Warren Gales' soul; he exists only at night a lives to kill.
The plot so far is involving. The artwork is really superb and provides a wonderful backdrop for the slow unfolding of the plot. My only complaint is the short length of the series. I hope that Shadows Fall will have life beyond the length of this series.
