Short Review: An interesting twist, and some more machinations.
Five issues is of course too much for any decent length of Constantine's entrapment and last-minute save, as Paul Jenkins seems to figure out. So this issue, a figure from his past pops up and gives him the hint, so that the next two issues will presumably be John's application of force to the leverage he got. This is a welcome change from the last-minute antics of Ennis, and seems to show the nature of Jenkins' escapes, that John Constantine's brushes with destruction are linked by a series of favours and paybacks. Still, it's a great story, and one of the cleverest covers I've seen for a while.
