Hellblazer 88

Story by EddieCampbell
Art by Sean Phillips

This is the fourth and final part of Eddie Campbell's Warped Notions storyline, and, as was probably inevitable, has dragged us, and John Constantine, to Campbell's native Australia. Since he's a local, it's understandable that Campbell gets the culture right, and the Bush Rangeress Delvene is better characterised than John.

The weirdnesses from the first three issues continues, with John making his way as far from civilisation as possible, in order to attract and trap the cause. The art by Sean Phillips is, at times, a little too close to Chris Bachalo's, but nice to look at all the same. Worth getting, if you like the series, or Eddie Campbell's other work.
