Short Review: Go on, you've already made your mind up on this one.
Well, it seems to be fairly established what Garth Ennis's forte is. Some like Characterisation, some world-threatening plot, and there's this Gaiman guy who does a great line in dialogue, but Garth is Mr. Creative Violence, and no mistake. Not that there isn't some entertaining dialogue, or interesting plot or characterisation. Actually, it's exactly like there isn't any plot or characterisation (today's lesson, like last month's, is that Authority is Bad), but that doesn't matter over much. The plot is a chase scene, with the bad guys chasing the good guys, some more bad guys chasing the first set of bad guys, and Rosie's power exacting Deus Ex Machina whenever necessary, but it's five entertaining violences per issue, and it's art by Phil Winslade, so that's all right. Oh, and Rosie's Irish, for what it's worth.
