Vertigo, $2.50
Short Review: Nothing happens, but some nicely written nothing.
More characterisation, but bloody good stuff it is. Brother Christopher and the girl get closer, Coyote Old-Man tries to reach White-Buffalo-Woman, Snake wonders whether he should be trying to control what's going on, and Cody waits. It doesn't sound like much, but there's not a word out of place, not a reaction that feels faked. The only jarring note, although probably necessary for plot purposes, is the Worldwide Square Conspiracy, familiar to readers of the Invisibles. The art's by Richard Case, and no more conclusive seal of excellence can I think of. Enjoy.
