This story, following the Teiresias Wars, focuses on Dorothy and her "Doll" Charlie. After disastrously trying to help repair the damage to Violet Valley, Dorothy decides to run away. Guided by Charlie, she enters a world of trapped souls, and rescues a refugee from the Wars. A storyline involving Charlie's "real" identity is heavily foreshadowed. And Kate and Cliff get closer. Pollack certainly seems to have a familiar grasp on the characters, and the by now mandatory weird artifacts/objects/beings are passable. The art, on the other hand is, in my humble opinion, just ugly.
But the cover by Kyle Baker very nearly makes up for it.
