Short Review: Leave him dead, for gawd's sake.
So, after the mess that was Jamie Delano's run on the comic crashes screaming to a halt, the first question for the new editorial team is: will they honour the changes wrought by Mr. Delano (with the obvious exception of the Death of Buddy Baker), or will they reboot the comic like unto Grant Morrison did during his run? Well, I wish I knew the answer, I swear I do. Or at least had the slightest idea what was going on in this issue. Buddy Baker seems to remember his death, which causes him some confusion when he wakes up in his childhood home, with a talking dog and an alien instead of his mother. During his journey towards whatever vague form of enlightenment he receives by the end of the issue, he spends some time in the lifeweb, and inside his head, both of which seem to be populated with the most meretricious nonsense I've yet seen in a Vertigo comic (Not-A-Compliment No 3. Collect the whole set!). The art does it's best with such a completely pathetic story, but there's nothing here worth salvaging.
