Short Review: You know that thing that isn't good? This is it, baby.
So, once upon a time, Jim Valentino invented a collection of characters who were, basically, humanoid animals, and wrote them into his Image series, Shadowhawk. And, when Santa gave him his own line inside Image proper, he tried to spin them off into their own comic. Shortly thereafter, he decided to give it to others, and let them reproduce the comic. The copyright and full rights to the comic stays his, of course, since this is Image (Motto: "Marvel taught us so much more than just Art swipes!")
