Short Review: Aaagh! It's ... Explanation!
After 16 issues of hints and titbits, Sam Keith has decided to start the big windup, ending in issue 17. Sarah, who's known what the Maxx has to do to explain his life for two issues now, tells him, and he does so. It starts him on a wonderful journey through his dreamtime, where things look like things that make sense. After a lot of great strangeness, the book seems to have settled down into a fantasy/reality book worthy of C.S Lewis or the like (you wouldn't believe my second choice for comparison). Groovy.
