Short Review: Character piece, unusually focused. Groovy.

This issue ties in the two threads of the previous issue, with Sarah, via a quick plot-jump, ending up in the cell with Fridge and the Isz. So, she sits and thinks, and starts making decisions and plans, first of all to do with the fact that the past two people to share a cell with the Isz disappeared. Some nice characterisation, and Sam Kieth's drawing style is really getting broad enough to let him properly address the topics he wants to. The look of calculation on Sarahs face on the last panel wasn't something I'd have previously thought him capable of. Some alarm bells should be sounded somewhere though; whether through the large amounts of ads, or the display of the winners of the fan art competition, there's only 17 pages of actual Sam Kieth work. This doesn't bode well.
