Short Review: Not Terrible.
So, it this, as it seems at first glance, a ripoff of actual pulp fiction superhero Night Raven? Well, no. It does feature a episode of it seems that it was created for the occasion. So, the story goes, some hyperactive reporter, researching a TV show about Superheroes, begins to suspect that his idol, Night Raven, was based on a real person. So, he dons the mantle and gets his first villain almost immediately. It's interesting to note that, although there are more than one villains running around, at least one supernaturally powered, Nocturne (as he'll inevitably name himself) seems to be the world's first hero. Not that this is a bad thing: one less title that crosses over with Spiderman or the Punisher is one less title that sacrifices an issue to the god of marketing. It's not badly written at all, and the art's good, for superheros, but it's still nothing exceptional. For Marvel superhero comics, it seems to be above average and non-universe. You could do worse.
