Short Review: Enjoyable fun. Back to standards.
Damn, It's good to see Alan Grant writing Lobo properly again. After years of The Main Man as big bad guy, who just trucks on through the carnage, it's about time that Grant, one of the few people who can get him right (as well, it must be said, as one of the many who got him wrong in recent times) got back on the line, and remembered that Bastich rhymes with Pastiche. This issue, we get a Collection of Private Eyes, a lot of understated (for Lobo) attitude, some great comic timing, and finally destruction on a city-wide scale. And pathos (if you like rats). Great to see things back they way they should be.
