Short Review: All right of you're in the mood for a laugh.

A warning first: most of the comedy here is character-based, around Bob in particular, and Bob is only an original character if you've never even heard of W.C. Fields. That said, W.C. has been pushing up daisies for some time now, and it's nice to see new examples of his attitude applied to different circumstances. The channeling is done by Alan Grant and John Wagner, who manage to keep it funny most of the way, including addressing the problem of a pirate ship's crew of Khunds, the most objectionable race in the galaxy. The issue ends with the advent of Lobo, which could go either way. Alan grant is one of the few people who can write Lobo well, but he's also one of the fourteen million who can write him terribly. The art is by Carlos Ezquerra, who completes the trinity of really old 2000AD people on the book (and there's an ad for a series by Alan Grant and Kevin O'Neill. They're popping up all over), and is good throughout. You could do worse than this, but statistically speaking, Lobo is a bad sign.
