This epic of the silly goes out the way it came in: A Mysterious Oriental Tyrant; a Mysterious Gun-wielding Hero; a Beautiful Lady; her Father, a Brilliant Scientist; and drama, drama, drama. Throw in a loyal sidekick (good guys), a scheming and ill-fated henchman (bad guys), and several dozen swarming chinese assassins (ditto), and you have an literally incredible tale, capable of making any respectable B-movie maker's eyes light up. Nowadays, of course, they don't make B-movies, so they must make this a blockbuster, and in doing so destroy the actual story. Such is the way of the world. Personally, I'd pay money to see this done properly (like, say, on a budget of $250,000), but I can't see myself going to see the film of the same name, even if it does have Alec Baldwin.

The art, of course, is classic Kaluta, who may well have been born in order to draw this sort of story.
