Short Review: A mixed bag, but probably worthwhile.
Story and Art by Eddie Campbell
This month, the story degenerates into an action caper. Not a particularly good action caper, it must be said, but what do you expect from the Eyeball Kid? Has the Abraham Lincoln seal of approval.
Story by Gordon Rennie
This month the Kabuki Kid ends up battling the forces of industrialisation. Tragically, it appears that the writer has decided to make a standard fight scene, and for the main part, forgotten to put in the funny. Still, anything can be forgiven for Roger Landgridge art.
Not, uh, exactly a morality tale, this 1-pager about a kid in a nudist colony is strangely mean-sprited, along with having texture than Dave Cooper's usual art.
Story by Ed Brubaker
An interesting finale to the three part detective story, we see the managed to photograph a murder without remembering it. Nicehow he characterisation, great art. This is an intriguing end to a decent thriller, with an innovative twist.
