This issue completes the retelling of Badger's origin, and ends, as it must, with Badger, Hamilton J. Thorndike and Daisy Fields in business together, ready to see what happens next, a situation familiar to all long-term Badger fans. If this story is anything to judge by, the wait may finally be over, and without any damage to Mike Baron's writing abilities. The final issue of this 4-parter solves the mystery that caused Badger to reemerge, with all the psychodrama, comedy and impeccable fight scenes we have a right to expect in this title. Jill Thompson, for her part, may well be the perfect Badger artist, bringing life to all the characters, including the six or so inside Norbert Sykes head. I just hope we don't have to wait too long for the next issue of Badger, in some form.
