A policeman arrives at one of the Greek Isles, and starts to make enquiries about the tragic death of a prominient socialite, shortly after her marriage. It soon emerges that the apparently accidental death was a premeditated murder, and the pattern matches what the detective has found across Europe already, a pattern belonging to a man forever changing his appearance and identity, a man the police have nicknamed Bluebeard.

This 78-page psychological thriller is very well written, and nearly manages to keep the attention throughout, although there is perhaps one too many examples of the previous victims shown. The tone is sinister, and the ending unexpected. The art is also very fine, particularly the individual appearances of the main characters, and the effective use of shadow.
