So, armed with this peculiar talent, our man Virgil takes on evildoers everywhere. In this issue, the nasty in question has the even unlikelier ability to make motor cars do whatever he likes - climb walls, somersault and you get the picture. Being proud of his gift (and not wanting to stretch the intellects of the by now comatose readers) our villian declares "Ever since the big bang, the whole car does whatever I say when I'm drivin'". One may infer that the dialogue's not up to much either.
Anyway, the whole sorry spectacle comes to an ugly head when one of Static's friends gets beaten up by bovver-booted heavies, who suspect him of being gay. Static says "you mean they did this because they thought you were gay?", to which his mate replies "Yes -- and they were right. I'm tired of lying..." Cheesy dialogue a go-go.
The art is functional, with nice colouring. It is nowhere near slick enough to even partially redeem this drivel, however.
