Roarin' Rick's Rare Bit Fiends 11

Story and Art by Rick Vietch

King Hell, $2.95

Short Review: Very strange.

Since we last visited the world of Rick Veitch's dreams, he seems to have either been applying some ordering to the raw material, or somehow increased the amount of them that he remembers. The narrative flow is better, and it's strange to see some of the strange turns of logic that pop up in my dreams, here in black and white. Some of the imagery is a bit heavy-handed, and I wonder if Neil Gaiman is receiving royalties for the use of the figure of Neil Gaiman (first appearance, Feeders & Eaters, Copyright Revolver 1992). It's an engrossing read, and the backup feature by Al Davison is troubling and touching.
