Short Review: Virtually auto-bio. Campbell Art. You decide.
This piece from Eddie Campbell, may or may not be autobiographical: It's set far enough in the past to need no references to his drawing, and it contains the sort of details that tend to stick with one. Unfortunately, it shares the main fault of autobiography: there is simple no reason for the reader to be interested in the minutiae of another life, real or imagined. There's no effort to get under the skin of any of the characters, it's just a visual diary. The Art style is Campbell's usual sketchy lines, but tends to grow on you over the 48 pages. Get it if you think you'd like it.
