Oh dear. It's always a bad sign when a new comic feels the need to fill its first cover with guest artists, and create a 'Jam Cover'. And the next two are scheduled to be the same. Do we detect a lack of confidence in the subject matter? I should bloody hope so. The comic itself isn't particularly much past what any adolescent might scribble on the back of a notebook; Large fightin' and drinkin' alien in a nigh omnipotent (except for crucial story developments, or whenever Richard feels like it) spacecraft, runs around the galaxy (but mostly on Earth) fightin' and drinkin'. It owes a lot to Lobo (without the comedy) and is crying out for Simon Bisley art, but as it is, it's not really up there.
